| GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION:
We prefer to publish "coffee-house" or "slam" style poetry; poems that are just as powerful spoken as written. We also like to see experimental work, and prefer modern free verse to traditional forms. Through Spider's Eyes is currently used to showcase the best work that RoseWater Publications receives. We will consider single poem submissions for Through Spider's Eyes, but prefer to receive full-length chapbook manuscripts. If for some reason, we decide not to publish your chapbook, but would like to publish individual pieces in Through Spider's Eyes we will contact the poet and request permission to do so. At this time, Through Spider's Eyes is able to only pay 1 contributor's copy per poem published.

RoseWater Publications publishes 5-10 chapbooks per year. Poets should submit 12-60 pages of poetry, titled. If RoseWater Publications chooses to publish your manuscript, you will receive one half of the press run (usually 50 to 100 books). Please do not send queries, as we feel it is impossible to get the sense of a poet's style or vision from a query.
RoseWater Publications also publishes mini-chapbooks. These are about the size of a business card, and consist of one sheet of 8 1/2" X 11" paper folded in eighths. In order to be considered for mini-chapbook publication, submit up to 120 lines of poetry (any number of poems) with a title for the collection. RoseWater Publications will print a press run of 40, 20 of which are paid to the poet.
